Before purchasing this product, it is essential to confirm that your bike has the necessary installation space. When using the mounting plate we provide, ensure the distance between the plate and the ground meets the following requirements: A > 1.6 inches and B < 2.75 inches. If your bike does not have a mounting plate, check the measurements to ensure there is enough space to install the kickstand.
One of the standout features of this kickstand is its height adjustment function, allowing it to accommodate different sizes of bikes. The package includes the following parts: one kickstand, one long bolt, one short bolt, one aluminum bracket, and two washers.
For bikes with a mounting plate, the installation process is straightforward: 1. Remove the bracket, bolt, and washer from the kickstand. 2. Place the kickstand under the bike's mounting plate. 3. Insert the short bolt through the bike plate's hole and tighten it to the kickstand using a wrench.
For bikes without a mounting plate, the installation steps are slightly different: 1. Remove the bracket, long bolt, and washer from the kickstand. 2. Position the kickstand at the middle of the chain stays (beneath the chainstays). 3. Place the bracket on the chain stays. 4. Secure the bracket to the kickstand using the long bolts and washers, tightening them with a wrench.
